For Marco,just try:mkdir /media/restoremount -t ext3 /dev/(your ilgocal group)/(your ilgocal volume) /media/restoreI was a bit confused by your comment as to which isthe Logical Volume and which is your Logical Group. But what I did above worked. Remember, a Logical Volume is still an ext3 format when mounted.L

Hello,You say that in the last example the alarm-Logs are set to local0.emergency using the pttelame $DATE $HOST According to RFC3164, The Priority value is calculated by first multiplying the Facility number by 8 and then adding the numerical value of the Severity. So your would mean facility 18, which is local2 and not local0 what am I missing?Cheers, Alex
